Austrian Gold Ducat
The Austrian Gold One Ducat coin was first minted by Austria at the start of the sixteenth century, around 1612. The last regular issue date was in 1914; therefore, all ducats that are dated 1915 are restrikes.
Between 1920 and 1936, 996,721 of these restrikes were issued. The Austrian Mint is still producing these gold one Ducat restrikes today.

Obverse Side: The laureate head of Emperor Franz Joseph I, facing to the right
Inscription: FRANC IOS I D G AUSTRIAE IMPERATOR
Reverse Side: A crowned double headed Imperial eagle superimposed with the arms of Austria
Inscription: HUNGAR BOHEM GAL LOD ILL REX A A 1915
