Austrian Gold DucatThe Austrian Gold One Ducat coin was first minted by Austria at the start of the sixteenth century, around 1612. The last regular issue date was in 1914; therefore, all ducats that are dated 1915 are restrikes.

Between 1920 and 1936, 996,721 of these restrikes were issued. The Austrian Mint is still producing these gold one Ducat restrikes today.
