Product NameTen Dollar Gold Eagle coins were first minted in 1795 at the Philadelphia mint. The denomination was minted until 1933 and contains several different varieties. The $10 gold eagles that were minted before 1833 are very rare.  They have very low mintages and their survival rate is even lower.
